SUNX WINDOW FILM LIMITED WARRANTY

Product Warranty Statement

SunX Window Films warrants against cracking, crazing, peeling, bubbling, delaminating, demetalising, adhesive failure, film colour fade and film colour change under normal use on interior glass surfaces for as long as you, the original purchaser, own the car.

Warranty Disclaimer

Your warranty is not transferable and is limited to the replacement of film and associated labour costs. This warranty does not cover film damaged by scratching, glass failure, glass breakage, leaking glass, film which has been subjected to mistreatment, abuse, improper care, film to which stickers, suctions cups or similar are attached. This warranty does not cover any consequential loss however caused. All warranties implied by statute which can be excluded are excluded. Keep this warranty information in a safe place, it combined with proof of purchase and current ownership will be required when making a claim.

Warranty Exclusion

Laws regarding automotive window tinting vary from state to state. Please discuss these laws with your UltraTint dealer (SUNX) and stay within their applicable boundary. Warranty cover will only be provided for installations that comply with your relevant state laws. No claim will be approved for windows tinted darker than the legal limit.

Claim Procedure

In the unlikely event that you need to make a claim under this warranty for film failure, please contact SUNX on 02 4647 7077 to arrange an inspection. SUNX will verify the problem and then provide approval to the appropriate installer to do the rework at no cost to you.

Installation Notes

Window film installation requires the use of water and detergent solution to float the film onto the glass. The film is trimmed to size and then excess water is squeegeed out. Invariably there is residual water that will develop visual haze ad water pockets as this remaining moisture begins to evaporate.

Do not be concerned, these apparent visual imperfections will slowly disappear as the film cures and should not be regard as defects.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE

  • DO NOT WIND DOWN YOUR WINDOWS FOR 48 HRS AFTER INSTALLATION
  • DO NOT CLEAN THE FILM DURING THE 30 DAY DRYING PERIOD
  • MOISTURE BUBBLES ARE NORMAL AND MAY TAKE OVER 30 DAYS TO DRY OUT

Film Care and Maintenance

After curing, a few small particles or points may remain. They are normally visible from the outside and are inherent to film adhesives. These points or light reflections do not affect the performance, durability or longevity of the film in any way.

To clean your window film, simply spray the surface with mild soapy water and wipe off gently with a soft cloth, chamois or soft rubber squeegee.

Do not use abrasive style cloths, brushes, sponges or powders to clean your film.

Do not use ammonia based glass cleaners or other strong chemicals.

Your SunX dealer can also recommend commercially available window film cleaners or polishes that are safe and easy to use.

Do not stick heavy or gummed signs, tape or attachments to the surface of the film.

The barely visible light gap border around the edges ensured that the film is properly sealed and bonded to the glass. *Do not pick at the edges of the film.
